Poor Jet has been at the shelter for over 3 years. He is hoping when everyone see's his trick, the applications will be flying in.My name is Jet! I'm very affectionate and loving with people. I may try to be a lap dog! I know some basic commands! I am selective with other dogs at the shelter, and would do best as the only dog in my forever home. I am strong and pull on a leash but I just need the right person who can teach me better ways. If you are a fantastic - patient person who has the time for me and I would be your one and only, I would love to meet you soon!
Christmas is just one week away and we've still got LOTS of room under our "Giving Tree." This tree is full of tags that list items we are in need of at the shelter. Supporters can come pull a tag off the tree, purchase an item (or more) on the list and place a much-needed item under our tree for the shelter animals!This is such an easy and great way to help our shelter animals this time of year. It's also a great way to teach kids about the importance of giving to those in need.
Can you help us out by placing an item under our tree for our shelter animals? They have ALL been very, very good while in our care and we would love to make sure they have a Merry Christmas!

The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday from 10-4 and Saturdays from 10-2. We will be open until noon on Christmas Eve (24th) and closed on Christmas Day (25th).

Weston, Izzie and Olivia are 4-H members in Cerro Gordo County. At their annual banquet, they requested items for the shelter pets and these three dropped off all the donations that were collected this week. THANK YOU!!! We are so grateful!!P.S. I asked them to recite the 4-H pledge and they all knew it!!! :)
